This record was kind of a departure for me.  I had been used to doing the loud rock thing. After the Mumlers EP and the Shitkickers record I was looking to try other genres and textures to play with.  My old friend Eric had hooked up with these chaps after Sloe ended and introduced me to Paul, Derek, and Brian.  They were well rehearsed and we tracked the entire band live.  After a few overdubs and re-tracking the vocals, we had Jody play pedal steel, and Joan play the fiddle on a couple of tracks.  Jody has since become a full time member and you can catch them killing it all over the bay area.
