Drenched in Cycles
This got me on the idea that I could bring the Fostex B-16 back from the dead. This tape machine hasn’t worked for me in 5+ years, and I’ve tried it on a handful of sessions with no success. It took 3 days to figure it out. Good tape, tones, and a dead relay on the bias freq on channel 9 and I think it’ll work.
It did.
We tracked and mixed two songs in two days. We got simple sounds. They didn’t sound simple at all.
